H2ORIZON
Sector coupling and the sensible use of synergies plays a major role in the energy transition. Meanwhile, the importance of hydrogen as an energy carrier with great storage potential is growing. The H2ORIZON research project combines both: it couples sectors with green hydrogen, thanks to a unique constellation of competence and spatial proximity. The project is a common research platform between ZEAG Energie AG and Deutsche Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), Europe's largest consumer of Hydrogen. ZEAG built and owns the electrolyser/compressor/heating units and the network itself.
